The Stern Team works hard – and when you work hard, you work up some pretty big appetites!! We wanted to start highlighting some of the restaurants that we frequent! Today we’re talking about Ombu Grill. Ombu was established in 2017 as Utah’s first all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. They pride themselves on friendly staff and an excellent dining experience!
Rick and Maritta happily share their experience. Maritta is new to Korean BBQ and it’s her new favorite place to go. She loves it because it’s like being in the kitchen without all the prep & cleanup! Totally makes sense!! Ombu has three locations, they went to the one Midvale/Sandy location.
They ordered the ALL YOU CAN EAT – which means they got to grill at their table with meats and sides and could choose from 53 items (check them out here!)! they had beef steak, beef brisket, pork belly, pork steak, shrimp, calamari, grilled veggies, edamame and more! They mentioned that the sauces & small sides (kimchee, seaweed, daikon) are all excellent. There were marinated & seasoned grill options as well but they kept it gluten free and still have a TON of choices and lots of food!
The reason why it’s one of their favorite restaurants? It’s all you can eat and you can cook at the table! It’s a great price for the fresh quality, quantity, and options!!!
